EXCENT University Registration

To begin using EXCENT at your University, please complete the registration form below. Upon agreement to the terms and conditions, you will receive a complete Internet-based version of EXCENT for use for one term. This form must be submitted by the end of the first week of each term.

By submitting the form below you are agreeing to the following terms & conditions.

  • An unrestricted copy of the latest South Carolina version of EXCENT will be available for registered instructors each semester. An instructor need only notify the GET EXCENT University Project manager prior to each semester to allow adequate time to set up the necessary number of logins and secured access.
  • An EXCENT University system is provided at no cost to registered instructors at any South Carolina University provided the class syllabus clearly identifies how the software will be used by each student. Global Education Technologies is not able to provide a complete system for casual or limited review. An individual login will be provided and it is assumed that each student will be required to access the system, manage a student case load, and create an Individualize Education Plan (IEP) along with subset of related due process documents.
  • Training and ongoing technical support services will be extended to the instructor or designee only. Students experiencing problems with their access or program functionality will need to contact their instructor or designated person; the GET help desk and other support services are not available to individual students.
  • Instruction manuals and other supporting online tutorials and training materials for end users will be available to students to enable them to easily access the software and complete their assignments.
  • Each semester each registered class will be set up with a prescribed number of user identifications and passwords so each student can access two pre-assigned children. With two children assigned to each student he/she will be able to complete the tasks identified in the class syllabus. At the end of the semester all records will be deleted and the system reset for a new user. If special consideration needs to be provided for student incompletes special arrangements with the EXCENT University project manager will need to be made by the instructor.
